Air

Wanaka Airport is situated 10 minutes from the centre of Wanaka and has regular flights from Christchurch.

Queenstown Airport is one hours drive via the Crown Range and has daily flights from Christchurch. Wanaka Connexions and Atomic Shuttles run shuttle services from Queenstown Airport to Wanaka daily, please refer to their website for timetable details.

Car

If traveling by car, Wanaka is approximately a 3.5 hour journey from Dunedin and 5 hours journey from Christchurch.
